This online exhibition can bring the solo exhibition "(Je suis AKO) My name is Ah Gou" by artist Wang Yao, presenting 10 recent works of Wang Yao. The work shows Wang Yao's observation perspective of scenes and things around her and her exploration of space. Wang Yao's picture is first close to life. The dog named "Ah Gou" and his relatives constitute the most familiar picture of Wang Yao's life. "How does Ah Gou observe life? What will we be in his eyes?" This curiosity drives Wang Yao to record life, and allows the observer to switch back and forth between his own and Ah Gou's perspectives. In Forrest Gump Ben's dualism, the definition of human self depends on the definition of animals. This contradiction and unity of human nature and animal nature allows us to become close friends, but we also feel as if we are living with them in a parallel universe. What is a parallel universe like? A-Sync created "The Backroom", a third space under the parallel universe expansion plan. At the moment when the modern world has brought us back, we need the "back room" more urgently than ever before. This is a confined space and an endless secret planet. One room after another, people in it do not know where to go or how to stay. It seems to be a daily room, but it is a scene simulated in the "back room". This comfort and danger collide in the picture, creating a unique family portrait of Wang Yao. Few artists seek stimulation rather than "warmth" in front of family images. Wang Yao gave an analogy to this: "(Diving) dived to a certain depth, and when the light became dark, I could clearly hear the sound of my own breathing, but at the same time I felt suffocated, but extremely excited, so I wanted to paint like this." The satisfaction of the present gave rise to a vision of the future, but no one knew where the future would go: an ideal refuge, or the maze and endless breakthrough of Knossos. When Ah Gou pushes open the door, the answers will be revealed one by one. Wang Yao is like a recorder of the answers. She keeps drawing the room behind the door. "I am sensitive to space. In my paintings, almost all scenes are in a closed space, but there are always many doors or other channels that can lead to other spaces. The world behind this is the place I yearn for and am afraid to enter. Just as I am a person who lives in the present and yearns for the future but is afraid to hit the unknown, I think the unknown also comes from behind the door When I finished writing, my dog must have laughed. The 10-year-old dog has been indifferent to his parents. Is there a better living observer for a domestic dog? I am observed by it while observing it every day, so I often wonder what it thinks? What kind of visual perception does it use? Thinking about it, I drew the picture of peeping at it. After painting, I found that it was all my work.
