Li Zhongshi (b. 1994, Shenyang, Liaoning) now lives and works in Shenyang and London. His creative practice primarily employs strategies of retracement and withdrawal, destruction and dissolution to construct new modes of viewing and ways of understanding. Through image-based research and conceptual practice, Li engages in an open-ended critique of established systems of meaning and a refusal of authoritative narratives. Within the intertextual relationships between images or objects, contradictions and the ambiguity between opposing concepts emerge.

His solo exhibitions include: “What If It All Works Out?”, Keyi Gallery (Beijing, 2025); “Reflector”, Keyi Gallery (Hefei, 2023);
